Sponsorship Proposal
For the past 10 years the console gaming market has grown at an exponential rate. Fueled by today’s technology such as broadband internet and powerful microprocessors, console gaming has had endless effects on our modernistic society. It not only gives back to the economy by opening job opportunities it also brings many individuals from all over the world with similar interests together while keeping our youth out of the streets. In an effort to help expand the gaming industry and unite gamers throughout the Rio Grande Valley, we are currently starting up Halo2 tournaments in McAllen, TX with the aid of the NAACP. We have used their building in a past tournament and will most likely use the same building for future tournaments. The previous tournament we hosted turned out to prove very successful with over 50 participants show up along with their friends and families. The participants flooded us with positive feedback and because of this we are expecting many more people to attend the next tournament. Listed below is what is needed and we along with the NAACP would appreciate your aide in helping us organize our tournaments.
* Prize money
* Items to raffle- accessories, gift cards,
* Prizes for winners- Xbox 360, Games, PSP
* Money to help expenses
* Set up a sponsored booth for gamers
In return for your services, we can attempt several ideas that will not only publicize your corporation but, it will help provide profit for both parties as well.
* Add logo to all flyers and handouts
* Put up flags/banners up at the tournament site
* Pass out any magazines/booklets from the sponsor
* Create a “trade-in plan” where gamers will trade in items in exchange for registration buy-ins
* Sponsor can raffle off a number off registration buy-ins. Ex.To receive a ticket, customer must make purchases over $75 from sponsor.
